Albalira Gibson-Borrelli MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

Albalira Gibson-Borrelli, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Horizons Wellness Family Health NP PLLC in Middletown, New York. She’s certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and provides residents of Orange County and the surrounding areas with comprehensive care in a welcoming, friendly environment. She values diversity, has a caring heart, and operates with integrity. 

Albalira is the founder and owner of the practice. She speaks Spanish in addition to English, which is a highly valuable asset when working with diverse communities. She takes a holistic approach to providing top-quality care for her patients, emphasizing wellness, mental health promotion, and self-care in patients aged 17 and older. 

Albalira completed her medical education with honors at PACE University in New York City. She began her nursing career more than 30 years ago as a registered nurse in acute and emergency care settings. Ms. Borrelli understands the importance of breaking down communication barriers in emergency and critical care settings. 

She has previous work experience in the Bronx, treating multicultural patients with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, thyroid issues, obesity, and other chronic conditions. Ms. Borrelli provides education and highly effective treatments to bridge gaps in patient care, helping her patients overcome illnesses, injuries, and diseases.

Albalira was inducted into the Honor Society of Nursing Sigma Theta Tau International. She holds certifications in basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), adult critical care certification (CCRN), and pediatric advanced life support (PALS).

She’s an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Nurses Association and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She loves spending time with family and friends when she’s not at the office.
